HS2’s 16km Chilterns tunnelling completed with second TBM breakthrough

High Speed 2 (HS2) has celebrated the completion of tunnelling for its 16km twin-bore Chilterns tunnel as the second tunnel boring machine (TBM) broke through on 21 March.
